How much does it cost to get a pilot's license?

There are many factors that can affect the cost of your flight training. We have compiled a list of average costs for all of the licenses for your reference. Click here or see the "Licenses and Ratings" section for details. These, however, are just averages. Each person is different with regards to how much time and money it takes to obtain their private pilot license.

How much time does it take to get a pilot's license?

A private pilot license can take as little as two months or many years depending on how often you fly. We strive to keep you flying as often as possible. You will learn the skills and information much better and much more efficiently.

Can I rent the aircraft after I get my license?

As long as you maintain your currency as dictated by the FAR's, you are certainly able to rent the aircraft and fly where you wish.

Is it possible to fly during nights or weekends?

Absolutely. We pride ourselves on working around your schedule. If you work during the day, we can conduct your flight training in the evenings or the weekends after work. Whatever works best with your schedule.

How much does it cost to make an Intro flight?

We participate with the AOPA Discovery Flight program. For $59.00, we will take you up flying for roughly a half an hour to enlighten you to flying without dedicating a lot of money to it. Once finished with the flight, you will leave with your own logbook and your first flight logged.

Do I have to take a ground school for my pilot's license?

All of our flight training is done one-on-one. We don't have large ground school classes. So, your "ground school" will be conducted strictly between you and your flight instructor.

Where do I have to go to take my checkride?

We have  Designated Pilot Examiners available at each location. Our examiners can administer practical tests for all licenses and ratings except for the initial certified flight instructor and airline transport pilot.
